He leadeth me, O blessèd thought!
O words with heav’nly comfort fraught!
Whate’er I do, where’er I be
Still ’tis God’s hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

He leadeth me, He leadeth me,
By His own hand He leadeth me;
His faithful follower I would be,
For by His hand He leadeth me.

Sometimes mid scenes of deepest gloom,
Sometimes where Eden’s bowers bloom,
By waters still, over troubled sea,
Still ’tis His hand that leadeth me.

Refrain

Lord, I would place my hand in Thine,
Nor ever murmur nor repine;
Content, whatever lot I see,
Since ’tis my God that leadeth me.

Refrain

And when my task on earth is done,
When by Thy grace the vict’ry’s won,
E’en death’s cold wave I will not flee,
Since God through Jordan leadeth me.

Micah and his piano teacher Svetlana after the competition.
Micah with his piano master class professor.

On Saturday May 2nd Micah took first place in the UAA Piano Competition when he played Beethoven Sonata No. 27 Op. 90 in E minor, Chopin Fantasie in F minor, and Debussy "Minstrels." What a blessing and a dream come true!
The artwork on the wall in our rental greeted us with these words, "Look at the birds of the air... your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
Matthew 6:26

Laura and Elise came bringing abundant food and wonderfully tasty homemade cream puffs.

A quick move from one home to another was made easier on Saturday, May 1st since Julie, Bruce, and Tad had loaned us a helping hand by consolidating the homeowner's boxes in the garage.
