But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint."
~Isaiah 40:30-31~
Recently unearthed in the rubbish pile were photos including these shown below:
"Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.
"Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.
Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth.
Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them."
~Psalm 127:3-5~
Seth's newborn hospital picture discovered on Sunday.

Look out world - Micah is turning two!

Arriving at the site on Sunday afternoon -following the annual Walk For Life- were many highly motivated and skilled TeenPact excavators including Kenton, Micah, Seth, Jacob, and Colin.

Semper Paratus- Always ready to fight debris!

Who are you going to call? TeenPact!

Many hands make light work.

After tackling the charred bookshelves Micah became surrounded by a sea of pages.

We never knew carrying containers up a chicken walk could be this much fun; now we know how the girls feel on the balance beam.

Over fifty TeenPacters and their family members were among the participants in the Heartreach Pregnancy Center's annual Walk for Life on Sunday afternoon. Thanks to the numerous and generous donors the Walk raised over $25,000. On the 9th the Center gets their ultrasound machine!

Micah, Hannah, Jessica, and Logan

Scott and Robyn, family, and friends picnic on the green.

On Saturday while Seth and I worked at the site, Doug took the others to the annual Birchwood Youth Shoot near Eagle River. Tom and Joe were there, too!

Ready, Aim, Fire! One of Micah's favorite hobbies.

Wynn happily volunteered to visit the on-site ambulance where the paramedics examined his nail-injured foot. Paramedic Emily is shown in the foreground.

For if they fall, the one will lift up the other: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth;
for he hath not another to help him up." ~Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

I plan to work over there Wednesday at least some in the afternoon and probably more on Thursday unless Wynn's health issues interfere like they did yesterday (He had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic). Seth is overwhelmed with his college class assignments as is Micah so they can't help too much in the next two days. We missed seeing you at the Walk.
ReplyDeleteI missed being there.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that we can't be there this week but if you could keep us updated as to when you will be there in advance that would be awsome!
We're praying for Wynn.

Thanks so much Robin.
ReplyDeleteSeveral of us are headed over to work at the property right now and probably tomorrow as well. Yesterday we were still unearthing photos - as for an official work party none are currently planned, but if we get organized enough to plan one we will post it.
