"Let the moment come
when nothing is left but life
and you will find that you do not hesitate
over the fate of material possessions,
however deeply they may have been cherished."

~Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker~

This Saturday, March 19th, will be the one-year anniversary of our fire.
Those of you who have been walking through this valley with us know that in many ways it seems like just yesterday and in many others it seems like a lifetime.
Thanks for your continuing support.

While Seth came home to Wasilla for Spring Break - March 5th - 12th,
Micah staffed two TeenPact classes.

Micah and the rest of the staff team gather before the start of the week at the fantastic guest home just outside of Kansas City, Missouri.

Hannah, Zach, Micah, and Sarah stand near the front lawn of the Indiana Capitol Building.

All the staff guys inside the Indiana Capitol with the "staff mom" for the week, Kristi.

The staff guys: from left, Aaron, Zach, Trent, Micah, Jeremiah, Vincent, and Danny.

Micah got to be the speaker of the house for one day at the Missouri class, held in the actual House of Representatives. Here he poses with the gavel from the House in front of the chairman's seat.

Sarah, David, Zach, Rachel, Micah, and Stephen get some shots near the Missouri Governor's Mansion.

Mark your calendars for Micah's graduation! It will be held on Friday, May 13th at 7:00p.m. at Eagle River Grace Church.

Kenton was taken to the emergency room on Saturday for stomach pain.

On Sunday evening he underwent an emergency appendectomy.
Jeanne watched the two youngest kids while Doug and I remained at the hospital overnight with Kenton. And thankfully Grandma arrived from Kodiak on Monday to help us.

Since being released from the hospital on Monday, he has been recuperating at home.
