"Shout for joy, O heavens;
rejoice, O earth;
burst into song, O mountains!
For the Lord comforts his people
and will have compassion
on his afflicted ones."
~Isaiah 49:13~

Ever since the fire, Chris and Dorothy (whom we have known from Kodiak since the 1980's) have been loaning Seth their truck; they also let us borrow three of their mattresses - What a blessing that has been! On Thursday Chris drove down from Fairbanks to pick up his vehicle and beds, and to share a quick but meaningful visit with us. Thanks again, Chris and Dorothy!

Earlier in the week the floor was installed in the top story of the house; Kenton was delighted to have the job of screwing down the sheets of OSB.

Dennis and Cassie (the black lab) paid us a visit on Tuesday.

Part of the front wall is raised.

The first wall of Psalm's bedroom is put in place.

Work continues on the dog coop.

It was quite a sight to watch the north wall stand up on Thursday.

After hurting his back this week, Seth took the week off from helping at the site and spent most of his time on his college work - On Thursday he did drop by to see the incredible progress which had been made since Tuesday. The photo above shows him standing in the boys' bedroom.

Another of the front walls is built...

...and raised.
