God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;

He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.

Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill

He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sovereign will.

Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread

Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.

Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,

But trust Him for His grace; Behind a frowning providence

He hides a smiling face.

His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;

The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.

Blind unbelief is sure to err

And scan His work in vain;

God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

~William Cowper~

Tomorrow the framers are supposed to begin the foundation.

Today Micah and Kenton worked with the crew on installing the new septic system.

Preparing for the foundation

Mr. Kent helped us get outfitted with the tools we need in order to work at the site. He even stayed 45 minutes after hours to assist us and to process our purchases.

An incredible memory which will be etched in Wynn's mind forever - Mr. Carl allowing him to help pull down the walls of our old home.

Shoveling ash for the last time - Wynn said it was nice to finally see brown dirt instead of black ash.

Mr. Carl and the boys scan the scene.

Mr. Clark and his amazing machine have become like part of the family.
They remind us of the story of Mike Mulligan and his steam shovel Mary Ann.
