Psalm 100:3-5

"Know that the Lord is God.

It is He who made us,

and we are His;

we are His people,

the sheep of His pasture.

Foundation preparations continue to take up the bulk of the labor. Seth, Micah, Kenton, and Carl lay down the vapor barrier....

Then arrange and tie down the wire mesh....

And finally lay out and tie down the heat tubing loops for the in-floor heat of the house.

Tomorrow, we intend to repeat the process for the garage so we can pour both concrete pads on Thursday.

Carl has patiently and competently taught us many things regarding how to build a house. It is quite rewarding to have the opportunity to put good, hard labor into the construction of our own home.

Papa returned for a visit and wondered if we had any work for him to do.

Of course, we have plenty of important jobs to be done, like moving logs cut up from the felled trees.

Winter sleds come in handy when moving logs.

It is a blessing for Wendy to work alongside her Dad.
